Hi
I have had a Thompson 4000 pvr for about 5 months now. I have tried to update to the latest firmware, but I am still running V 1.7.7 . A friend has the same box and is running V 2.3.9. Is there any way I can update my box to a newer firmware as I dont think Thompson seem to be sending out the new software update for this model anymore? Having said that he seems to be having far more lockup that I am experiencing at the moment. Secondly neither my mates or my box seems to produce the 14 day epg. I have tried presssing guide twice etc and have also tried getting into the engineeringmenu to reset the epg but I cant even get into the engineering menu! I have been doing the following, from the normal receive screen pressing MENU, then 6, then 9, then pressing 1004 in sequence but nothing happens I get the menu screen up but then nothing changes on presing 6 9 etc etc. would be very grateful for any help. Many Thanks Mike ![]() |
