christmas and freeview

wouldn't it be a nice gesture from the money grabbing powers that be. opened up all the freeview channels let everyone watch them for free. During the Christmas period

Might Even Drum up some new trade for them for after the new year ..

Good idea Lisa, but I dont think the word "nice" is in the corporate dictionary.

Freeview is free already (licence fee excepted).

Or did you mean Top Up TV etc.... ?

Also at a time when the pay channels are likely to rake in more business than any other time of the year. I can see a lot of late night viewing should some channels let their barriers down
