Re: Harmony 885
As hunts1uk said, the 885 has the colour buttons, despite what Harmony's website says. Some pictures of the 885 are actually of the USA-spec 880. The 880 doesn't have the colour buttons, as the Americans don't need them.

Re: Harmony 885
You can teach the harmony the coloured buttons, then allocate them to the respective buttons on the harmony. A few buttons didnt work from my telewest box and i had to do the same, only took a minute.

Re: Harmony 885
I juts sold my Marantz RC5400 and got an 885, love it. An absolute breeze to set up and configure. Works immediately wiht all the Sky HD functions
leef1234 - I see you have an HD72i as well. did you manage to map the movement (U,d,l,r)keys to the hard buttons on the 885 - for some reason I cant !

Nope i haven't, well actually i haven't tried lol.
The wife was getting very annoyed with me keep going into the PJ menu and tweaking settings so when i got the harmony and it didnt work i took that as a cue to leave it alone lol.
My harmony is only about 90% how i want it at the moment, but it does more than i need on a daily basis so fine tuning can wait till i have a bit more time.

Re: Harmony 885
Only problem with the coloured buttons on the 885 is that they are very small and bunched too close together.
Careful when in your planner pressing yellow (delete) instead of blue (keep)
This is one of the few gripes I have with the Harmony.
Still, I wouldn't have my Pronto back

Re: Harmony 885
Hi all,
thought I would post to this thread. Currently using a 885 with a KDL-46W2000 among other things and what I want to do is have an activity that set's it to use the PC input on the back.
In the Wizard, it's none of the Input 1 through 7, any suggestions? I am about to test sending a manual IR comment to InputYuv as a punt but if someone has already done it and could let me know, that would be much appreciated
Cheers
