Hi,

Since I got home from work tonight I've been unable to send emails via my Sky broadband account. In addition the www.skybroadband.com page is currently down. All other sites are okay and I can receive mail through my pop servers on other domains.

What I'm wondering is... is this just my PC and internet connection and some weird configuration problem or are the Sky servers down? I'm in the North Cheshire (or South Manchester  ) area - post code WA14.

Cheers,
Terry.

Berkshire and my Sky BB is working fine.

Haven't logged on to Sky's site since the day it was activated though :god:

The Sky site appears to be down for me as well.

Me neither - just since the email problem started this evening ;)

My broadband appears to be working fine too apart from the email and their own broadband site. I'm using the Sky smtp server for outgoing email (and have been since it went live over a month ago).

Cheers,
Terry.

I'm downloading a film from SkyByBroadband at the moment so can't get an accurate figure....

The ADSL modem is quoting 9170kbps to me at the moment which is quite good, however that's not always accurate. I usually average about 7MB when I think to check it.

Cheers,
Terry.

Oh well... the Sky Broadband site is back up and my email is working again so I guess it was the Sky servers...

Cheers,
Terry.

My Sky broadband has been unavailable since last night.
I came here to see if it was only me.
What is happening?
How can I get to my emails without Sky working?

Friday 20.08- Working again. It must have read my message here.

Is it me or is the Sky broadband server down rather a lot recently?

Also

The Sky email system does not have many functions. Is it better than I think? Is there an alternative?
