Problems with play.com

First time I have had anything go wrong in nearly 3 years or so but my copy of Time Machine was posted last week on Tuesday and I know they say you have to wait 14 days to declare it missing or whatever but play seemed to hint at a lot of titles that where posted on that day have gone "missing".

Has this happened to anyone else?

well it wouldn't be the 1st time. A while ago now, but a certain "bag" of post from play went missing en-route to the Uk.

Can't remember the exact details, but i remember i had about 5 discs go astray. In the end Play / Post Office located the missing "post bag" and all items where delivered.

The postmen in my area tend to be illiterate simpletons or thieving bastards.
I am therefore forced to have most of my mail delivered to my work address. Before this I regularly had discs "go missing in the post".

Ordered Die Hard/Die Hard2 box set from play on 9/7/02..15 days later still not arrived..emailed play & they have just emailed me back (About 10 mins ago) !! to say another would be sent today, sorry and all that !!..but I know that my postman IS a KNOB !!!!

All ends well!
Time Machine arrived today some 10 days after it was posted and just to restore some faith in play.com Resident Evil also arrived only 2 days after it was posted

My Play DVDs usually always arrive 2 days after they were posted.

Really like my current postman - definitely not a thief ;) :grin:

Why not try another postal address instead,such as place of work,friends,parents etc,at least rule out the postman being a **** or a theif or both!!
