View Full Version : Where's best place to sell vinyl?

I'm considering selling my vinyl collection.
It's mostly made up of recent reissues of 70s soul and funk.
Does anybody know of the best place to trade these in?
Despite it's resurgence s/h stuff still seems to be fairly specialist.
I'm in Manchester and have tried Vinyl Exchange but was a bit disappointed.

Do you think I'd be better selling as one lot or by selling individually for about £5-6 each. I'm concerned about postage. I didn't really want to put them through the post.
Any advice you could give would be much appreciated.

Ive bought 15 albums from Ebay dude and the postage is usually lobbed onto the highest bid at £1.50 - 2.00 a disc. The average ive paid including PP is £5 a disc. But if you have rare or hard to come by vinyl expect to get more.
Your vinyl will haev to be in good condition with sleeves also well kept, I would check Ebay the next couple of days and you should see some albums your about to sell there to see what prices they are gonna achieve.

I've just sold 225 albums to a private buyer for £675 & he seems keen to buy more .
Based in the North West as well .
Do you want details passed on ?
