Variety has confirmed that Bryan Singer has signed a deal with Warner Bros. Pictures to direct and produce a sequel to Superman Returns.

My only problem with superman returns was the generall lack of old supes doing super deeds. A little more action around the mid section of the movie would have made the whole thing a lot better.
Singer has been quoted as saying the lack of action is something that he would address in any sequel to the film . It may even have the possibility of bringing back generall ZOD ( with some one else playing the role.)

I'd rather him go back to X-Men. Superman just wasn't that amazing really, but X2 was.

bryan singer truely f***ked up superman returns and i dont personally think he should be given another chance at it. The words TV MOVIE, Louis & Clark (the adventures of) come to mind eveyrtime i see that film. A complete mess with the only highpoints being cheap shots like landing a plane in baseball field with a cheering crowd.. And yes like many I loved xmen 2 (and thought x men is ok).

Not keen on Brandon Routh, not keen on General Zod. Already it is sounding poor.
I'd like a huge Robot with a Kryptonite heart, that would be nice...

M:I3 and Superman Returns were my two favourite films this year, can't wait for the next one. :clap: :clap:

I think that's why Spider-Man's so cool, but Superman I find a bit bland...
