grab it and vista problems

Hi, i have build 5744 of vista installed on my pc, also latest version of Grabit, however when i download newsgroups they dont appear in my download folder. i then thought maybe i should change where i download my newsgroups to so as im browsing via grabit for an alternative directory and then i see all the folders of newsgroups that i thought hadnt been downloaded, so they appear via grabit but when i go to to open them through windows there no where to be found???!!?!

any advice GREATLY appreciated

This is a know issue with GrabIT and vista I had the same problem.

looking on the shemmes support forum its all down to windows defender thats built into vista.

There is no workaround for this as I understand

yes i have found the problem, if u right click short cut for grab it on desk top then go to compatibility tab then check box 'run this program as administrator' . hey presto downloads now work on vista :d
