360 extender problem with recorded TV
Hi, I have recently added a Black Gold digital tuner to my MCE PC and all works fine on PC. However when I stream this to my Xbox360 the picture is a bit jumpy which I can stop by switching from 720P to pal 50Hz, first question is can I get the xbox to play recorded TV in 50Hz without having to move the switch on the cable?
Also I have noticed on a couple of occasions the audio goes out of sync with the video? Will trying a different decoder on the PC make any difference or is all the decoding done on the Xbox. Any other ideas welcomed. Currently using the Intervideo winDvd7 decoder.
Thanks for any help.

I have an Xbox extender and an Xbox 360. The Xbox suffers from lip sync very badly, while the 360 rarely has the problem. Sadly, I don't know what to do to sort out the problem - my connection is wired and running at 100baseT (no switching between 10/100), so I'm stumped for ideas.
I'm running the Nvidia decoder, so suspect its not a decoder issue.
regards,
Paul

Nope there's a 50Hz option in the latest update, but only works for playing DVD, this issue is my only real problem with a 360 extender, I tried phoning xbox support but it was a waste of time.
There's quite a few people with this issue.

Re: 360 extender problem with recorded TV
I can't find a way, I've posted on some Microsoft forums but there doesn't seem to be much from MS on there.
I Emailed Xbox.com support and was told they needed more info and I had to phone up, I phoned up and was told that 50Hz was related to my download speed and I need to contact my ISP !!!
Maybe worth trying to phone them it's free but very annoying.
