Why cant my new mce build read DVDs of my Server

I have just re-built my MCE pc and can not get it to play back DVDs stored on my server any more. The new pc runs Nvidia decoders and I also tried to uninstall these and use cyberlink (which incidently worked fine at selecting dvds when it was being used directly(ie not from within media center)).

The path the media center uses for dvds off the server is \\Garage\h\16 Blocks anf then the dvds are stored as .TS files ripped with DVD decrypter - All the garage drives are set to share aswell.

Im obviously missing something simple here, any suggestions ?
