Sony KDS55A2000 HELP NEEDED!

Hi Everyone, Im new to this forum and have just purchased a Sony KDS55A2000. I have it connected to sky+ via a scart cable, a Toshiba upscalling DVD player via HDMI and an XBOX 360 via Component cable.

The picture on X-box after applaying CNET.com settings is good.

The DVD picture is ok, with the dvd set to upscale to 780p. But has slight problems with movement, im sure there is a correct term for it, but it just looks a bit choppy.

The Picture on SKY+ is bad. looks like a compressed video file, sorry but the best way I can describe it.

Does anyone have any advice for me, on cables/settings.

Am i doing something stupid that makes all you Tech Gods want to pull your hair out.

Firstly, make sure your Sky+ box is set to output RGB, make sure the scart lead is fully wired for RGB, and make sure the TV scart input is set to RGB.

Just out of interest, where did you buy the TV from?

I was really hopeing someone could tell me the best settings, i have played a bit. but would appreciate some expert advice.
