Most definatley will be handle pretty much everyting you throw at it. That card isn't 1gb tho, and is marketed wrongly. It's basically a 7900GT SLi setup on one slot, each card has 512mb, and that is what will be found. They have marketed it by adding the 512's but SLi doesn't work like that unfortunately.

Still will cream everything tho

And then when it starts to struggle you have the option of quad SLi! :)

It will be.....

7950GX2 = Slightly less powerful 7900GT SLi (uses a hell of a lot less space and then is capeable of quad SLi which beats out everything at the mo)

7900GTO SLi = slightly less powerful 7900GTX SLi

Depends on space issues and wether you are planning on quad SLi in future I guess. Will still kick the ass out of everything tho.

Correction, at high resolutions 1600x1200 and above the X1950XTX in crossfire mode is the fastest due to something it does with Z-buffers and memory bandwidth or something.

Not to rain on your parade MrFurious that is one awesome card and I am very jealous.

I haven't mentioned anything to do with ATi

I was answering a previous post saying his 7900GTO SLi setup felt faster than a GX2 and I was showing a basic performance comparison, showing the fact that the GX2 is basically on a par with a 7900GT SLi rig and that the 7900GTO is a faster card than the 7900GT and therefore would feel faster.......

Never mentioned what would be the fastest solution, but if you wanna get pedantic I'm sure quad SLi would be faster than the aforementioned xfire rig at the resolutions you mentioned and that the OP will most likely have this option to upgrade to in the future making it the better decision :D

The x1950xtx xfire rig may be ahead in some benchies but overall, without looking recently, the quad SLi setup was the fastest.

But this is becoming way OT now.

Enjoy the rig man, it will cream everything as said b4 :)
