Unhappy Dvd picture loss problem - need help!!!

Hi all. Could really use some help here.

I have just bought a Panasonic HT545W home cinema system.
I have a big problem with picture loss with dvd playback on the component output.
Video of problem: http://uk.video.yahoo.com/video/play...d018a6.1011409

Setup: Panasonic HT545W home cinema system plugged into a Hyundai Q321 lcd tv with a Thor component video cable.

-have checked the cable connections
-cleaned star wars disc
-problem is present on 576i and 576p
-problem is NOT present on scart output
-problem is present on other dvd's and divx disc's but not as bad as star wars attack of the clones (seems much worse than other disc's for some reason.)
-changed various picture settings, none had any effect
-used other component input on tv (hyundai has 2 comp inputs), had no effect
-other player functions work fine

What do you think ?

UPDATE: I have managed to reduce the picture loss by a considerable amount. The player has something called 'just fit zoom', which I had set at the 16:9 setting.
Upon changing this to the 'Auto' settting, things improved alot. However I still get short periods of black screen at various points thought out star wars. The lightsaber battle at the end of attack of the clones was rather annoying to say the least. And as I said before, it only happens on the component output. I tried an s-video cable and the lightsaber battle had no interuptions. I have sent panasonic an email about this, but I'm not holding out much hope.

Is there nobody who can shed some light on this problem?
