Question Ipod questions from a old giffer

I have a Ford Focus C-Max with a factory Blaupunkt Travelpilot EX fitted. It doesn't have a Cd changer or MP3 input. Can anyone recommend a connection kit to allow an Ipod or similar type device to be connected. i would like to retain the steering wheel control if possible.

Also we have an S-Max with the rear seat dvd system. If i purchased a video ipod for the c-max are leads available to plug it into the screens rgb sockets. Or even better does anyone know if you could plug it directly into the DVD player under the seat.

Sorry if the answers are already here but I have searched lots of car audio websites and they all refer to the standard ford radios not the optional ones.

Thanks in anticipation

Re: Ipod questions from a old giffer

To be honest, i have no idea of the answers to your problems ...... but i wont let that stop me.

Playing the ipod through your stereo, i think the easiest (and by far the cheapest) is getting an FM Transmitter (ww.ipodworld.co.uk has loads). Though you wont be able to use your steering wheel controls other than changing the volume !!
I dont think you can get the ipod lead through the stereo that you have (www.connects.com is your best bet)

As for the video, try this : http://shop.ipodworld.co.uk/iPodWorl...d_Adaptors.htm, theres a couple there.

Its not a classy integrated unit, but the word "integrated" usually means pricey.

P.S, nice car that S-Max. Want one.

I don't know if you can get leads for an Ipod, but an Archos AV500 can output composite video and the leads are included with it.
