Looking at the other calibration discs theyre v expensive for what they are so I thought I'd give making one myself a bash.
It will have to be in VCD format which I can burn on the comp with nero.
Video Calibration
Seeing as I use RBG, colour is not adjustable so I need the correct image to calibrate brightness and contrast only (and perhaps sharpness). What image is usually used to calibrate brightness etc. for pal sets?
Audio Calibration
I beleive white noise is usually used for this, problem is how can I create 5 separate audio tracks, each one playing white noise from each speaker? I presume it will have to be dolby digital or possibley mpeg audio, what can i use to create these?
Anything else I need on the disc?
Many Thanks
Dom.
*edit* hmm looks like I'm stuck with 2 channel audio on the vcd, spose I can flip the interconnects round on the amp using a 2ch mix.
