Evening,

I am some what out of touch with PCs and am looking to buy a new one. I have had a laptop for around a year now and miss the feel and power of a desktop. I am also frustrated that I can only run games on the lowest setting.

My new PC will mainly be using to play games on and for Photoshop work.

I have been offered the below spec PC for just under £900 and would very much appreciate your views on it. I am open to suggestions and would prefer not to build my own. I already have a monitor and want to spend around £800-£900 in total.

INTEL CORE DUO 2 SOCKET 775 "CONROE" E6300 OVERCLOCKED 3.0x2 GHz WATER COOLED & 2 MB L2 Cache,
2048MB DDR2 667 MHz DUAL CHANNEL RAM
DUAL LAYER 16 X DVD +/- RW
250 GB SATA HARD DISK
ATI X1900 XT 512 MB STOCK OVERCLOCKED GRAPHICS
ASUS P5B P965 MOTHERBOARD
AQUAGATE MINI R120 WATERCOOLING
TYPE R 580W MODULAR POWER SUPPLY
12 month warranty

Thanks for your time.

I'd take the p.c. Good spec at a good price

Yeah seems a good price to me I'd pay for that no problem. I would just point out to make sure you have case cooling because of the water cooled cpu.

Thank you for the advice. I will go ahead and order one today and will let you know what I think once it arrives. Thanks again.

personally i would ditch the watercooling - it can be a lot more hassle than it's worth unless your an fairly computer literate etc.

Still a good spec for the price.
