I am planning on putting a GF 6600GT in my old computer upstairs.

Can anyone tell me if the AGP version of the 6600GT requires a extra power connection via a molex or is it a stand alone card?

Has anyone got any recommendations for a cheap AGP card similar to the 6600 in performance that doesn't require a molex connection (my second pc has a very weedy power supply)

There's the X1650Pro AGP, Sapphire and HIS has released some or the older X1600XT. Though they sell for nearly £100.
If you're not gaming get a X1300.

Otherwise I suggest you get a new power supply like minimum of 400Watts.

I will struggle to upgrade my PSU as it is a HP pc which does not take standard sizes.
I would like a card that will play games such as HL2 and CS Source.I will check out your recommendations, cheers.:thumbsup:
