How much for shipping?

Guys

How much do you think would be reasonable cost to ship two sets of rack ears for DVDO from the US to the UK?

[Bent metal plate sprayed balck, no screws].

Cheapest way would be US Postal Service, which may take a couple of days longer but should be in the pennies compared to couriers who will be in the pounds. From experience I also find that USPS is rarely "done" by Customs.

Re: How much for shipping?

Courier only option then, that's annoying.

I find the trouble with many American companies is they assume that how that operate intra-USA is "best practice" for global operations too, when this is demonstrably not the case: e.g. use of couriers to deliver items. I often wish more American companies would offer "slow but cheap" option to ship, sometimes you don't need things NOW! or NEXT DAY you just want them at reasonable price and are prepared to wait a week.

Re: How much for shipping?

Unfortunately the items in qustion were shipped several months ago and no carriage was charged. I think they even came in a bubble packet. Certainly the cost was not huge to them. Now the company has charged me $66 for the privalege (more than the items cost in the first place). Can't say I was too impressed but had no choice as the UK distributor does not carry them and 'was not interested'.
