Re: fuji s5600

By the 'fd' I would say 'Face Detection' is going to be the main upgrade.

Go here, and then scroll down the page - you'll then be able to click on each one and get its full specification.

Cheers,

Martin.

Re: fuji s5600

As far as I know Yes it is the new model the S6500fd.

However I have not seen and Prices in the UK (Not that I have looked that much anyway) but should be in the stores soon.

However, please don;t discount the s5600. I have one and have got some very very good shots with it and I am still learning.

While the 5.1 million pixel count is not that much now days, I still have got 12x16 inch prints out and they look really great.

I would have thought that with the new model now coming in you could pick up one for £170 to £190 now.

Just my thoughts!

Re: fuji s5600

The S5600 can be had for around £147 from Amazon (dont know how to do the affiliate link-type things)

The S6500fd on Amazon is just under £300 (must be that high cos of it being a new release?)
