Graphics Cards From Overseas

I need to upgrade my graphics card (AGP) and was wondering if I could buy from abroad to get a better deal.

Has anyone here bought Graphics cards from the US or elsewhere overseas and does it make nay difference at all as to the graphical output or reliability of the product? Do differences between PAL and NTSC come into play? And if you;'ve had a good experience can anyone recommend an e-tailer?

The risks from buying overseas are:-
1) customs and VAT charges on import
2) long delays in delivery
3) no local warranty support - you'll have to return it to source at your own cost
4) potential issues over compatibility and drivers- though I've never had issues with this myself.

Generally I'd say stick within the EU.
