Hacks for Denon 1930 and 2930?

Does anyone have hacks for Denon 1930 and/or 2930 players? I have region 1 players that I would like to make multi-region.

Thes machines have only just been launched in the UK, so no firmware updates are available yet. Plus UK hacks don`t work on non-Pal R2 machines, you won`t find a firmware for your NTSC R1 models...

Folks

Have a Look Here for the 2930

Not sure if it works on R1 Models as Denon R1 Players are Notoriously difficult to Hack

I have the disc that makes the 1930 multi region. It was sent out with my machine including all instructions, works perfectly. Will gladly send you a copy.

Re: Hacks for Denon 1930 and 2930?

It seems to me that a lot of the DVD-1930's delivered in the UK and Germany are codefree / multi-region by default... I wonder why (and why not in the Netherlands) and what firmware-version do these contain?

Kalimon: Is your regionfree firmware of version 1.12 (please check by typing 1-2-3-4-DISPLAY on the remote)? Looks like all multiregions are on that specific version.
And oh: I've sent you an email.

Hi there!

I did the procedure 1-2-3-4 and display on the remote and I had a blue screen showing the firmware version of the player and a Region 0 showing. Is it multiregion already then? Please let me know... Thanks!

Region 1 models are NTSC only and cannot be modified.
