How do I activate the Sky Freesat card?

I have a full subscription in my house and I want to provide Sky Freesat for the bedsit at the other end of the house. I have a Sky Freesat card and a Sky+ box and remote. I cannot get Sky to recognise my free card because I would have to use the same telephone number that Sky recognises as my subscription number. I don’t want to pay Sky the additional room subscription. How can I get Sky to recognise my Free card without a telephone number?

There is no requirement AFAIK to have a telephone line connected to a Sky digibox using a Freesat card.

Jus put the card in the box. If it has not activated itself in about three days call Sky. They won't need your telephone number nor will they charge muiltiroom because that is for subscription packages only NOT Freesat From Sky.

BTW you are on the Freeview Forum. Feeview is terrestrial not satellite.
