Ipod Dock v Minijack sound quality
Hi,

I have an ipod nano. The minijack is good at driving headphones, but using this output to a hi-fi is low in volume and quite poor quality.

How does a dock improve matters, if at all? Are any makes noticably better than others with sound quality (please only owners of different makes for help with this one)?

On my 4G iPod sound quality is noticeably better in the dock compared to connection via 3.5mm jack on top.

Thanks, I'll buy one then!

Does anyone have the Logic3 dock and confirm it sounds good?

Looks good value: mains charger, RF remote and comes in black for £25 (or £15 from ebay!)

Actually, some specs says RF remote, some IR remote, some both!

Anyone know which it is?
