Hi Guys,

Need one of the above outputs, does anyone know if there is a decent box with those connections?

Thank you

Re: PVR with S-Video or Component Out?

The Topfield 5800 outputs to component via it's RGB Scart output, so you would need to have an RGB to Component cable to do the job.

I'm pretty sure that is has an S-video output aswell but I've only had mine for a week and can't remember for sure. Its a cracking piece of kit and I'm over the moon with it so far

Re: PVR with S-Video or Component Out?

Yes the Toppy does have s-video on 4 pin connector. Also can output RGB, component or s-video from the scart socket.

It can't do RGB from scart and s-video from 4 pin connector at the same time and I suspect (haven't tried this) it can't deliver component over scart and s-video from 4 pin at the same time either.

I've had my Toppy since November last year and I'm very happy with it. Needs a few Taps to make it "your own", but that's the great thing about it.

Rob.

The Digifusion boxes can also output s-video through either scart connection.
