PC novice here. I was wondering if it is possible to install XP MCE on my PC which is currently running XP Home and would it be realitively easy to do so as I would like to stream video to my Xbox 360. My PC is a Vaio Desktop that is media ready but obviously a conflict of software so cant stream to xbox any help would be appreciated as I dont want to fork out for a new PC.Thanks

Options:

1. Do you want to dual boot ? This is definately possible - some info here (http://thegreenbutton.com/forums/thread/127127.aspx)

2. Otherwise you could upgrade (looks tricky) - info here (http://thegreenbutton.com/forums/thread/18937.aspx)

3. Or just backup and do a fresh install of MCE 2005 and then restore your settings and programs (Files & Settings transfer wizard in windows works pretty well) MCE is just XP Professional + media features

You will probably need to buy some hardware with your OEM copy of MCE, if so why not get the Media Center remote (http://scan.co.uk/Products/ProductInfo.asp?WebProductID=143741) at twenty quid as it will work with your Xbox and your PC !
