I've got a 300g Maxtor Shared Storage Drive connected to my home network storing all my music, photos and recently I've started ripping movies on it too. I'm using Windows XP Home edition.
Does anyone know if it is possible to remove the requirement for a password to open up the Maxtor drive? Its driving me nuts as I've no need to password protect it. The Maxtor setup seems to insist a password is required.
Is this right or am I missing something?
