Anyone have lip synching probs with this disc..at first I thought it was just because they were miming to their own singing but it seems out on the in between chat too...first few viewings I never noticed anything but then it seemed to appear - I put it down to my aging Wharfey..but my spanking new Tosh 500 has the same effect (DOH!) - other problem discs that I had before now work fine though:)
cheers

Are you watching in dts? I've noticed a few lip synch problems with dts discs of late as well.

This disk is known to have bad lip-sync problems with both the DTS and DD soundtracks. Very annoying indeed, as is very noticable in some areas.

Where is your DVD from.
The R1 has known major DTS sync problems, its horrendous from reviews I've seen / US Forum discussions, DD is okay.
I have R4 which is okay for DD and DTS. Its always difficult to tell as my player is a Sony 725 which is known for its poor lip sync control especially on some films, but Moulin Rouge was fine, in DTS.

My R1 copy has lip sync problems in parts but as I work in Shropshire I will take it there and see if there is any improvement

There was a whole thread on this back when the disk first came out.
R1 Moulin Rouge is known to have a serious lip synch problem on the DTS soundtrack. Unsure on whether its do do with the disk or the player.
The R2 & R4 disks have no reported problems.

If AccursedWitch doesn't have problems with her copy, does that mean that she has something else out of sync to compensate.
If so, I think I know where the problem lies :)
