Arcam A80 Source Switching Problem

I originally posted this on the Hi Fi Systems & Separates forum.

I have a new Arcam A80 (two weeks old) and when it is first powered up the source switches from whatever is selected, either CD, AV or DVD, to Tuner intermittently. This also happens when a new source is selected after the amp has been on for some time. The dealer is a very decent chap and has tried to find out if there could be a definite reason for this problem. He will replace it and give me a loaner until a new unit arrives but it is very annoying.
I wondered if any of the chaps out there have seen anything similiar and have a solution. Position, static etc.

This probably isn't the most helpful response in saying that mine doesn't do that, but I've had my A80 for over 3 years without a single problem, so when you do get a replacement model you should have many a happy year of music entertainment.

May I ask what other components make up your system?

It's all pretty basic really; I'm not a home cinema person, I prefer stereo. The list is:
Arcam A80
B&W DM601 S3
Marantz CC4300 five disc changer (for parties).
Arcam CD192 (for me).
Marantz DV6600
Hitachi 42PD7200

The next item is a decent universal remote.

I'll be in the UK for the next three weeks so I will probably buy the remote there.
