Denon 3805 - auto EQ

Hi, Just managed to get one!

When trying to use the auto EQ setup the amp always fails when it comes to the rear centre speaker... I have at the moment on 6 speakers ... L,R,C,LR,RR,CR ... it keeps thinking I have 2 rear centres! even though I have told it in the setup I only have the one small speaker!!

Am I being think(!) or is there a setting I need to change

Thanks in advance guys!

Re: Denon 3805 - auto EQ

Do you have the Surround Back speaker plugged into the Surround Back LEFT terminal?

If you use the manual test tones, do you get a tone out of the rear single speaker? I was thinking that perhasp you had the speaker connected to the Rear Surround B rather than the Surround Back.

Re: Denon 3805 - auto EQ

I have the rear centre conected to one of the rear surround outputs that arent normally used(!)

It makes a noise when the setup runs its just it looks like its looking for another speaker ...
