Has anyone bought from Future Entertainment (http://www.futureent.com) website?

Their Region-1 DVD's are generally cheaper from Play-247 and I'm considering buying a couple of disks from them.

But since their disks aer delivered to the customer straight from North America (as opposed to Play who deliver from Jersey, UK), are there any custom charges I might have to pay? Has anyone else bought from future Entertainment and can confirm that the price I see ont he website is the price I pay, with no added postage/custom costs?

Thanks.

I've brought from them loads of times and the price you see, is the price you pay. In stock DVDs can arrive after 1 or 2 days, but out of stock can take a couple of weeks. Very good company if you're prepared to wait every now and then.

They are like Movietyme in that the reship your order from the UK (Kent I think). Therefore no customs charges.

Took a while for mine as well mate. I'm still waiting for some of my original order  I think they're cautious with you the first time you order.

Squirrel

I have odered from them several times now, I guess its one they dont normally stock and are having trouble getting hold of a copy, its probably not that populer it was made in 1956 but it is a classic.
I think I will email them to find out what the hold up is.

Oh ok. Mine were all 3-5 days too. But they are taking much longer! Maybe they're having problems at the moment....

They've just shipped Ferris Bueller though :) At least 10 or 11 days (not working days) after I ordered it  (around that long anyway, can't be bothered to check or I'll get depressed :()

I have had the original Oceans 11 on order from them. They said 3-5 days for dispatch but then their e-mail said 'All discs are shipped from North America, please allow up to 10 days' before checking with them. I think its been delivered now (but I didn't make it home last night to check)

I guess for the big titles they ship load in in advance (I got the 2001 Oceans 11 from them in 18 hours, no way that came from North America !!!!), but for older out-of-stock items they are brought in indivually and take a bit longer.

Great speed and service for new disks though, and the prices are good.
