I enjoyed Black Rain too (although its been a while since I watched it). doesn't seem too much of a SE going by the link which is a shame.

Off topic a bit, but another Michael Douglas film I have been waiting on a SE is 'Falling Down'. I loved that film, and would love it even more if this was given the works, but I am resigned to the fact it probably wont get the treatment :(

I watched this film, old Dichael Muglass is awful.

I'll give it another go, some films get better after a few watches.

Black Rain is a quality film, and about time it had a decent release, rather the pityful release it currently has.

i just watched this recently. decent enough film albeit dated, but awful dvd, non anamorphic crap

falling down is a great film. warners have been doing a load of re-hashes lately, and even did new jack city, so falling down could be next. they could interview a few office folks and ask them to comment on the movie, and perhaps do a commentry, you know in the style of the hip hop extras on the scarface dvd. just get general folk who had nothing to do with the movie but maybe saw it on ITV a few years back to comment on it's long standing appeal, and how douglas is a lucky guy to have cathering zeta jones and have loads of good looking leading ladies in his films. if they can do a special edition of roadhouse, then anything must be fair game for a special edition.

great film. Not much to it, but nice dark thriller, and Andy Garcia in the car park - great scene.

Any news of it coming to high def disc?

Just ordered the special edition (£4.86!!!!!!) as at least anamorphic and 5.1, still can't find any info on an HD release so this will tide me over until then :smashin:
