Real Madrid free on Sky now

Go to services | System Setup | Add Channels | Change frequency to 11.681 | And go to find channels | Store channel 51147 and hey presto.

You'll find it in your other channels list. To view you have to go to services>otherchannels> 51147 (select this to view) it does not go into the main channel list.

Cheers for that. Worked a treat. I wonder if they show live games.

So if there a thread with other free channels people can install.

Is this legal? Will Sky start billing u for it if they realise you've done it?

Also, does changing the frequency affect your signal quality on other channels at all?

It is NOT illegal in way - the broadcaster is broadcasting an unencrypted signal (either by mistake or as a test).

It will have no bad effect on other channels you are merely setting up an "Other channel" facility on your dodgibox (which is there to cater for channels which do not appear on Sky's epg.) in the same way you can add all the other ITV regions to your box. The only problem with the other channels is that a Sky+ box will not record them AFAIK.

The English version of Real Madrid TV will be in Sky EPG from next week.

The only live matches are reserve games.
