Wired to Wireless

Please excuse any naivety and apologies if this is covered elsewhere - I have done a search and google search as well. There is a lot about cordless/wireless headphones but can I 'convert' my wired headphones to wireless i.e. I want a transmitter in the TV and the receiver for my headphones? Is there anything out there?

Thank You

you cannot go wrong with the Sennheiser RS series of wireless headphones.

I have tried the RS 120 and RS 130. The RS 130 are the best because they are auto tuning and sound great. I had to sell mine as there was too much interference, so if you can try before you buy or buy and find out what the returns policy is.

Thanks for the reply but I fear you have mis-understood what I was after. I want to keep the wired headphones but is there anything I could plug into the headphone socket of the TV which would be a wireless transmitter to a receiver connected to the wired headphones?
