Any way I am thinking of using my dads info to sign up for the sky broadband.

what channels can you download ?

How big is standard movie and what codec is it in MPEG 2 ?

any way to burn off on to DVD`s what you download for future watching ?

any other info you may think might be on interest to me ?

Is his house near enough for you to extend the phone connection? The Sky broadband is tied to the subscriber's phone number.

Are you asking about the new Broadband service, or Sky By Broadband? They are two different services. Sky Broadband is an ISP, Sky By Broadband allows you to download movies and sports clips.
