Dunno if you guys have watched the film but I liked the music being played in the Nicks club (Robert De Niro), just wondered if you could recommend any cds in the same style

A good introduction to Jazz would be Miles Davis 'In a silent way' and 'Kind of Blue' or John Coltrane 'Ballads' or 'My favourite things'
If you like that you may also like Milt Jackson and some of George Benson's early work or if you like things a bit 'dirtier' Grover Washington Jnr's Inner City Blues album is stunning.
If you like the female vocal / jazz in the score then i'm not sure - sorry
