EPG manual download

Hi,

My isp has gone bust leaving me without internet access. The biggest pain is no epg - can anyone tell me if and how one can download this manually (at work!) and copy this to the mce machine at home.

Many thanks,

M

Sorry not unless the machine at work has MCE installed. Then you can copy the EPG folder.

Someone here could upload it to a website I guess as a Zip.

GPRS connection via mobile phone?

PSTN dialup?

They would have to do it on a daily basis though:-)! Probably a copyright infringement too.

That's the best option. PAYG dialup. You would still have to remember to dial-up every day. If you are prepared to put up with missing out on latest updates just dialling up once per week would probably be OK.

hy not just open a pay as you go dialup account with virgin or force9 then download via a 56k once you have gone through the initial pain of the whole guide download then just make sure you manually download every day to save time until you get broadband sorted again. Should take approx 3 hours as I think the guide is about 25 - 30mb
