Can't record

I have legal paid for sky, and normally watch bravo, however on trying to copy 2nd half buck rodgers to watch later, the dvd gave this error "This signal is protected" and would not copy. ( I'm using my Daewoo dvd recorder DR-2100p ) which I have used in the past to copy fron Bravo without any problems before.

So is there a way to copy this programe or not, as I don't want to get sky+ yet, as I'm happy with sky plus my dvd recorder.

Many thanks

I guess they use copy protection on certain programs. I actually thought this only was put in place on Box Office programs because of the early release to the masses.

What you could try is a Macrovision cable or box. They are quite pricy, but they should also make it possible to copy contence of copy protected DVD to DVD and VHS to DVD. You should probaly check this out more in detail before forking out your hard earned cash...
