Denon 1920 question

In amongst the confusion (some of which I suspect is absolutely deliberate) some manufacturers are causing over the whole 'upscaling' issue I am stuck and caught trying to find out actual max resolution figures (which isn't as easy as one might suppose).

Could someone help me out?

The Denon 1920 looks (according to a couple of reviews I've seen) to be able to handle hi-res Divx.
Is this true?
Is the Denon 1920 a DivxHD player?

Sorry to have asked this elsewhere but I think the thread heading (yet another 'new dvd player, help' type has put people off looking.

The 1920 is not a very good divx player because it plays the files in a small window, its great for dvd playback though

I'd seen others mention this but assumed it would be dealt with by firmware, looks like it won't maybe?

I've also just seen mention of a new Denon range with a 1930.

Oh well, the search goes on.

Divx is awfull IMO on my 1920 but great on my Pioneer 440 HXS.
