I am quite surprised to see that after all that hype about Samsung's capability to do 1080p now it seems this is yet another lie from the Blu-Ray camp. They didnot even bother to mention that to the consumer. Consumer are sheding a lot of money for this player thinking at least it does native 1080p.But the truth is it is deinterlacing 1080i signal to 1080p. But if you already have 1080p TV your TV would do a very good job to deinterlace 1080i signal to to 1080p.
Yet again I see future is bright for HD-DVDs.I am not here to point out BD's faults. But as a concerned consumer I am disappointed to see the performance of BD Players.
