amps for multi room???

Hello, new on this forum, some good info on here bout after a little of directed help. Ok not much luck posting under amps section.

Im after an amp for multi room stuff, need 6 channels really. I also want the centralised amp and just key pads and speakers in the rooms, i'm not too keen on having the amps in the back of the keypads.

The ideal system was one from channel plus, but apparanty it aint a UK item. So can anyone suggest some makes and models with a centralised amp unit, thanks in advance.

iirc the Opus 500 system offers remote keypads and a centralised amp.

Russound also offer one as well CS6.4, something like that.

I would check out the speakercraft systems, good range of keypads now available and good value for an excellent product.

opus seems to be quite expensive with all the cost of keypads etc and there amp units ARE all seperate. Speakercraft systems seem to be good price and also they have video switching on them. Just one thing, if i am only running a video feed out to my tv's how do i watch normal tv? i know i would be able to get dvd. sky on the tv's etc? I was just going to send my signals around on an rf feed using some modulators for the dvd and cctv. I also got a price for a channel plus system, was about £1300 for the main unit, 6 keypads 2 being master key pads, and also 6 IR sensors, does this seem abit cheap maby he has quoted me wrong? I also noticed that the speakercraft said lifetime warranty, what does this mean? Surely they won't cover it until i die?

Last question, is there any difference in quality between an rf feed and a video feed?

cheers guys
