How NOT to set up your surround sound system...

http://www.faronsutaria.com/image.dt...2-C7B4F7BF9379

Now I know the equipment was likely purchased by the landlord who just just put it it here without thought, but I've seen so many people who buy surround sound TVs then just plonk the rear speakers on top of the set.

Stupid people who buys things but have no idea of how they work or what they do. It annoys the hell out of me!!!

All of the surround speakers are on top of the TV, including the rear channels.

Is it a bird?

Is it a plane?

No, it's sarcasm flying straight over your head!

YOu can't blame them, look at this, though it is a press conference.

Like the look of this set-up, nice speaker positioning and love that 4:3 TV.

Also found this lovely looking set-up in The Netherlands - nice 'pyramid' arrangement of all 5 speakers and sub - it must sound sensational

To be fair, most stores display surround sound systems like this.
