I like the composition of the first one, but, all of the colours seem wrong to me, especially on the second two.

thank you for commenting .

As to the colours it had just snowed heavy and there was a thick fog like haze hanging around so there was no clear sky for sunlight . the light getting through was difused and causing shadows and colours..

Im afraid the colours do not surive well through the file size reduction ..

first pic was original 2048 x 1536 and 285k

the following pic was 2048 x 1536 and 290 kb

32799

using freeware programme paint.net version 2.63 iresized it to 800 x 600 and saved it as a jpeg adjusting it till it saved as 124kb file..

So maybe it me or my camera...

This picture i took in 2004 again after snow lol and facing the sun ( all the wrong things to do lol lol ) But I like the look of the sun through the haze and the branches and the light and shadows it castes ..

I again point out im not trained i just point , click and shoot what i like the look of .. some pictures are crap and some i like..

You have had 62 views so far.

I think it is your camera that was getting the colours wrong.
I would also set the camera to 3.3mp to save memory, as the 6.6 is just a gimmick and doesn't increase quality.

I like the one with the sun coming through the trees, but the camera isn't doing you any favours IMO.
If you enjoy taking pictures I would look at another camera with a zoom on it and maybe a few more features.
Keep snapping. :smashin:

This one i took last year just past Saundersfoot , next to the beach sat outside a pub with a cold guiness.. Picture was fuzzy and not focused right , I was about to bin it but i instead played around with the Painting effect in Arcsoft PhotoStudio 5.5 ..

I have it on my wall printed on plain a4 copier paper , in a frame behind glass . To me its like a poster or pop art .. Dont know what anyone else thinks ..
