Hey everyone

Although I like to think I'm great with computers, I am a total networking dunce. Networking just NEVER works for me at all. The HD-A1 is no exception.

I have my HD-A1 plugged into my router, which has my cable modem connected to it via Ethernet. My computer is connected to the router via ethernet.

How do I solve this error and get the new firmware update?

Never mind, got it eventually with DHCP. It turns out I'm already running the latest version.

Latest version distributed on CD in US is v1.3. I think the latest hosted version is 1.2. So there is already a newer version. I undertand 1.4 will be released soon and will have some "real goodies" according to an insider at MS.
