I really rate the FZ5 so here are a few recent results to give people an idea :-

Nice pics mate, I was close to buying the FZ7 but eventually went down the dSLR route, minf you I might be tempted to get one as a general smaller camera as they are quite cheap now

Thanks John - I'm very tempted to go for a D50 but I think with the stock lens i'd probably only benefit indoors without flash. I'd have to give up the long zoom and image stabilisation as well which i'd miss. I also prefer using the LCD display for framing - macros must be near impossible without it !!

I guess at some stage i'll try a D50 but will always keep the FZ5 to have in my pocket when out and about

great - I've just ordered a telephoto lense (fleabay) for my fz7 - I'll let you know how it is when it arrives!
