I hope someone out there knows what I am going through! I have a Foxtel PACE box, and have wired up my LG plasma direct from PACE through SCART-COMPONENT and Optical out (PACE) to optical in (PLASMA) then optical out (PLASMA) to optical in (SONY AMP). My concern and frustration is that the audio from Foxtel through my amp speakers is coming through at a fraction of a second delay after the TV speakers, sounds like a horrible echo (have muted TV speakers). Some shows are ok, but others are horribly out of phase, some movies and Leno was unwatchable thru amp, had to reingage TV speakers. Can someone offer some advice as to what is causing this? Could it be a cable problem? I have a really thin optic cable that came with my MD recorder which I am using from PACE to TV and a dick Smith $30 job from Tv to amp. HELP!
