Bush SCART Freeview decoder...

...works great ! Highly recommended.

£50 and my reliable old Beko bedroom portable is wired up for freeview.

No operational problems at all (so far...)

Fingers crossed then! I had one of these before returning it for a refund (see 'Are Freeview Scart adapters any good?'). It's a great idea just very poorly implemented IMHO.

I hope yours behaves - if so, yours will be one of the few that seem to be OK. There was talk of early units needing a software update AIR. If so, and yours has it, then you might be OK.

Still working fine - gets a lot of abuse as well (telly gets moved a lot, with SCART box dangling out the back)...
