Best All-in-one without DVD player ?

Hi , can someone recommend a half decent all in one . I dont need a dvd player as i have a sony HX710 dvd recorder with a optical out . All im after is one with 2 or more digital optical inputs , no dvd player and about 50w upwards speakers . Cheers guys (budget is around £200)

Exactly!

This is exacty what I was going to post (well, nearly) I too have the same SOny HDD/DVD recorder that you have. I also have Toshiba DR160 and a Toshiba SD306e machines also.

Without going to the expense of buying an AV amp I would like to hook my DVD machines to some speakers where the deocoder is in the subwoofer. I have two optical and one coaxial to play with. If need be I can live wth just two of the DVD machines being hooked up.

From the lack of replies I reckon we might be on to a non started here. But I'll pursue ths all over the internet if necessary....

Yamaha AV59 or Denon DHT1356XP seem to be the favourites at the mo in that price bracket.

I'll be investigating the Sony HTF1000 today and buying it if I can find it at the right price. Other threads on here have convinced me. The Amp on the AV59 is too big for where I want to put it.
