Superfi told me they can get me one for next tuesday but I need to put a deposit down.
The whole of Curry's don't have a single one in stock and in fact haven't had any in stock (which amazed the assistant).

I noticed some PURE stock in Tescos the other day, it might be worth giving them a try.

Hope that you enjoy it. I've had one for a few days now and it's great.

How loud is it and is there a good sound quality to it?
(I work in a noisy factory but I'll be about 3 foot from it).

I don't really know how loud it can go as I live in a flat but probably as loud as you'll want it and the quality is good, it has tone controls.

There's loads at the Southend High Street .digital store. £199.99, I think.

Yes great price well worth the wait But i didn't get it until 03/07/06, i wasn't in any rush for it so wasn't too bothered What can i say about the Evoke 3, well it's very easy to use, sounds great, plays mp3's from sd card, i can hook up my ipod to it and the record and rewind facility is a doddle to use just like sky+. If you can afford one (cause to be fair it is a lot of cash) it is well worth it

Question Pure Evoke-3

Anyone had 'problems' with the lcd screen on the Evoke-3? Mine packed in within 6 days of taking delivery - having had one on order for nearly 5 weeks! So much has been said and written about this set - yet, it fails me in less than 144 hours! My 'old' 'National Panasonic' has worked faultlessly for over 262,800 hours = approximately thirty years!

Initial experience of the quality control is dissapointing. Only hope that the replacement will be reliable! No wonder Pure offers a 2-year warranty! Pure themselves were excellent though! Arranged collection within 24 hours and dispatched replacement immediately. I did not even have to go back through my retail source - who by the way, were themselves VERY helpfull.

Beautiful set both in sound and ability - when it works!

I picked on up from Currys in Chester quite a few months ago. Just kept on visiting on the off chance even though their website was saying no stock and phonecalls to the store getting the same reply. One day, I noticed one tucked in behind other pure dab radios.
