I guess if you click on Registration, then you can register .
Have no idea how is comparing with the beta-will try later and will report.

Looking at the constituent files I would say that its exactly the same as the beta, the file dates are the same I think?

So I dont have much hope that it will stop the satellite/ channels mixing problem!

There is no difference. I did a file compare with Utraedit and the two files are identical.

Unfortunatley it seems to be the same buggy editor too. Can't believe Humax could release this without some sort of warning.

Can any one help me with this probably very basic query re the humax hdci 2000. I have downloaded the winoak program and the new software update, connected the serial cable from the humax to the pc and set it to com 1 - but when i press download and switch on the humax i only get the "waiting for humax" message. Are there any of the com port settings that need changing perhaps ?

many thanks in advance

I have downloaded this program some days ago, the only difference I can think of is this: instead of switching the box on from standby, (as in the Humax instructions) I switched the receiver off from the mains switch at the rear, then when prompted to switch the receiver on, use the switch at the rear, not the standby switch on the front panel.
This may or may not cure your problem, the baud rate is 115.000, I don't think there is any other com port settings to worry about, except that the serial cable needs to be the NULL modem type.

Bob.

Question Registering at Humax: model?

I'm doing my register now. On the model list, the HDCI-2000 does not appear but since it's not a "required marked field", I think I can still register. Am I correct?

UPDATE: Yes, you can register without the model entry!

Are you using a nul modem cable, not a standard serial cable?

Sorry yes I meant the editor.

I have mailed Humax tonight making them aware of it and asking for a fix.

Just in time for the first World Cup match.
