Blu Ray

I went into my local Selfridges today (Birmingham) looking for a DVD ROM drive. As I was looking around I noticed blank Blu Ray cartridges (25 GB I think) for sale. Has a Blu Ray machine been released yet in the UK?

There aren't any Blu-ray recorders out in Europe yet, but Blu-ray writers are just becoming available, although this one will only write to 25GB single layer discs.
